We are back...

For a while we have left this blog abandoned, but that will no longer be the case. This will from now on be the home base of operations for Micro-Escopio. Before the week is over the URL www.microescopio.com shall redirect you here, and from this location you'll have links to other places in the internet where we have a presence.

That being said, we truly are back. We have a new online album coming out this weekend. It is the first album where only one of us (me, Pete Drown) participates in the music. Mike Mellow, was still part of the project as creator of the art and co-producer of the songs.

The name of the album will be "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" and its first single will be called "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees). It is a theme album that ventures to the days we are living, travels thru the past, present and future of the fear...in an 8bit sound that's more friendly than scary. It has 12 songs and it will be free to download, just like the previous to EP's, from our there homes (Blogger, myspace, facebook). After the first week of free download, we might start giving away for free just a few of the songs, and then sell the abum for a five dollars on myspace. We also have the "donate" button on our page, where you can pay for the album what you want that first week, with no obligation.

When we upload the new album this Sunday 31, right before midnight, we'll also be uploading the last two EP's which apparently have broken links.

I hope you enjoy what we have created and please don't be shy to share your thoughts...Good or bad...it's all good. Thanks.

Por un tiempo hemos tenido este blog abandonado, pero ese ya no será el caso. De ahora en adelante esta será la nueva casa principal de Micro-Escopio. Habiendo dicho eso, en realidad si estamos de vuelta. Tenemos un nuevo album que será lanzado de manera digital este fin de semana. Es el priemr album en el que solo uno de nosotros (Yo, Pete Drown) participa en la música. Sin embargo, Mike Mellow participó de igual manera creando el arte y co-produciendo el disco.

El nombre del album será "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" que al español sería "Canciones Para El Camino Hacia El Fin Del Mundo". El primer sencillo se titulará "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees). Es un album temático que se aventura a los días que vivimos, atravesando el pasado, presente y futuro de nuestros miedos...en un sonido de 8bit que es más amigable que tenebroso. Cuenta con 12 canciones y estará disponible para bajar de gratis, junto con nuestros dos anteriores EP's, desde todos nuestros hogares en línea (Blogger, myspace, facebook). Luego de una semana de descargas gratis, es posible que solo dejemos algunas canciones para descargar gratuitamente y el resto ó el disco completo estaría disponible para comprar por cinco dólares desde myspace. Como siempre, tenemos también el botón de "donar" (donate) en nuestra página de myspace, donde usted puede aportar lo que crea por lo que descarga, sin ninguna obligación.

Cuando lanzemos el album el Domingo 31 de Mayo antes de medianoche, también estaremos subiendo los últimos dos EP's que aparentemente tienen enlaces rotos.
